A fine and highly collectible 1968 Omega Seamaster Chronostop, reference 145.008, featuring the desirable 24-hour “Roulette” inner bezel with alternating red and blue numerals. This colourful configuration is one of the most sought-after variants in the entire Chronostop line.

This specific example stands out thanks to its remarkable oversized orange central seconds hand, often referred to by collectors as the “jumbo orange” Chronostop hand — an eye-catching detail that enhances both legibility and vintage presence.

Even more special, the dial features the rare orange-painted Omega logo at 12 o’clock, perfectly matching the orange chronograph hand. Below the logo, the dial is signed “Omega Chronostop”, while at 6 o’clock it carries the elegant “Seamaster” script. At the bottom, the correct “T Swiss Made T” marking confirms tritium luminous material.

The black dial is very well preserved, maintaining its original luminous plots and hands. The stainless-steel case retains its strong geometry, characteristic of Omega’s late-1960s sport design language.

Inside beats the manual-winding Omega Caliber 865, a robust and precise movement developed specifically for the Chronostop line, offering the brand’s signature single-pusher chronograph designed for short-interval timing.

Fitted with a vintage-style cognac leather strap, the watch has a warm and charismatic wrist presence that accentuates the “Roulette” inner bezel.

Key Features:
• Rare orange Omega logo printed on the dial
• Oversized “jumbo orange” chronograph second hand
• Black dial signed Omega (orange logo) – Chronostop at 12h and Seamaster at 6h
