Rare, beautiful Art Nouveau enameled hand painted case on both sides representing a see scenery. 

Inside case engraving 'Grand Prix Paris 1900'. Awarded the Paris Grand Prix 1900, prestigious award that was given to the best watchmakers in the world at the Universal Exposition of 1900 in Paris. The exposition was a world fair that showcased the latest achievements in science, technology, art, and culture. Some of the most famous watch brands competed for the honor of being recognized as the finest in their craft. The winners of the Paris Grand Prix were allowed to engrave their pocket watch cases with the words "Grand Prix Paris 1900" as a mark of excellence and distinction. Some of these pocket watches are now highly sought-after by collectors and enthusiasts.
