Le Phare was the brand name for the Jean d'Eve manufacturing company which emerged in Switzerland in the late 1800s. Jean d'Eve won several awards for watchmaking in the early 1900s and was so successful and reknown that by 1970, it was the second largest Swiss manufacture of chronographs.
