A fine and very rare “Lake Thun with Mount Niesen” 18k Gold  open-face pocket watch early 19c Rare Collector

Fine, richly decorated spindle clock. Guilloché gold dial with Roman numerals for the hours. Blued Breguet hands. Gilded spindle movement with a finely openworked bridge for the three-legged balance wheel with a ruby capstone.

Case back featuring an enamel medallion depicting a house on Lake Thun with the Niesen in the background. With a fine pearl border. Above it, acanthus engraving. Circumferential engraving with branches; leaves set with pearls on black enamel. The edge of the case back and the edge of the glass are also beautifully set with pearls.
