A fine and extremely rare Historical Badollet Genève Rose Gold and Silver vintage pocket watch from 1887, bearing the initials A.P.
In 1635 in Geneva, the first Master Watchmaker in the family, Pierre III Badollet, created a unique expertise which has, along with the different masters of the Badollet dynasty, come down through the centuries in perpetual movement, subtly combining tradition and innovation.
This timepiece is a perfect example of the extraordinary craftsmanship and passion of the Badollet prestigious Geneva house. The box and dust cover are in silver, the back cover is decorated with beautiful reliefs related to military scene. The white porcelain dial is in excellent collector condition, signed Badollet, with Arabic numerals for hours and minutes, Louis XVI hands and seconds dial at 6.
