A fine and rare Jaeger-LeCoultre Rue De La Paix table clock  Shaped like a street lamp, it bears the name of "Rue de la Paix", a Parisian street running from Place Vendôme to Opéra Garnier.

Produced in the 1950-1960s, this desk clock belongs to a series of street lamp clocks conceived by Jaeger-LeCoultre, with a range of street names adorned on the typically Parisian street lamp.

Measuring 28 centimeters in height, this rare desk clock is made from a brass base covered in gilded metal. The cream colored dial features black Roman numerals, a classic Jaeger signature and is marked with a circled "8", indicative of the clock’s 8 day power reserve. The dial has developed a beautiful warm patina over time.

The Louis XV hands are made of blued-steel, adding a welcome touch of contrast to the dial. The “SWISS MADE” signature at 6 o’clock is a subtle reminder of the provenance of this collectable.

A Rare beautiful collectable timepiece, in overall good condition.

The clock is turning, however the accuracy was not tested on the long term.
