Overview: Since 1955, Ingenieur has stood for uncompromising engineering, highest performance and technical innovation, imposing itself as the most mythic of all IWC models. It's the antimagnetic watch the brand perfected, and the one we offer is a 100% original example from the '60s period that's preferred by collectors.
This model was introduced in 1958, it has a mechanical automatic self-winding IWC caliber 852 movement that's rhodium plated, with oeil de perdrix embellishment, and a nickel-finished lever movement. It's constructed with 21 jewels, a patented Pellaton winding system that makes the movement extremely shock proof by using the flexible (winding) rotor bridge.
