Armando Pizzinato was an Italian painter known for his role in Social Realism, a movement that aimed to depict the struggles and realities of the working class. His art was deeply influenced by his political commitment, the aftermath of World War II, and the Italian resistance movement.
Born in 1910 in Maniago, Italy, Pizzinato studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice.
Initially inspired by Futurism and Expressionism, he later embraced Realism as a way to reflect social and political issues.
