A fine and rare Albert Carter Art Deco sterling silver and enamel table clock, Birmingham, 1927

Height x width x depth: 7.8 x 7.1 x 2.1 cm. Weight: 181.3 g.

Sterling silver and yellow guilloché enamels case, silvered dial with Arabic numerals bearing the iscriptions '8 Days - Swiss made'.

Fully hallmarked Birmingham hallmarks 1929-1930, silversmith Albert Carter

Albert Carter was a renowned British silversmith from Birmingham, known for his high-quality silverware and enamel work. Carter's period of activity was primarily in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He was granted a royal warrant as silversmith to Queen Mary.

Albert Carter collaborated with prestigious watchmaking houses like Tiffany & Co. primarily in the 1920s and 1930s.

In good condition for its age. The watch movement is currently working, the accuracy cannot be guaranteed due to its age
