Sterling silver case and pink guilloché enamels case, openworked with the inscription "The Hour" and with the figure of a musician putto.
Silvered dial with Arabic numerals and black hour markers bearing the inscriptions "8 Days - Swiss made".
Fully hallmarked on the back Birmingham 1927-1928, silversmith Albert Carter.
Albert Carter was a renowned British silversmith from Birmingham, known for his high-quality silverware and enamel work. Carter's period of activity was primarily in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He was granted a royal warrant as silversmith to Queen Mary.
Albert Carter collaborated with prestigious watchmaking houses like Tiffany & Co. primarily in the 1920s and 1930s.
